Opening Standards: Rollouts


Any cabinet brought into the Cabinet Solutions CNC Workshop is governed by the information listed in this tab.

Holes:

  • Tool to Use: The Tool to Use is brought up from Tool Library in EnRoute. If the tool doesn't exist in this list, it must be created in EnRoute.
  • Depth: Depth of drilling into the panel for the rollout slides.
  • Drill through panels on partitions: This option is available if the holes should be drilled through on partitions only.

Vertical Hole Placement: The information in this section sets up the offset for the rollout slide within the opening on the panel. Depending on the type of rollout slide, different placement options are available.

  • Placement: The placement of the rollout slide offset can be set to bottom, middle or top of the rollout box.
  • Offset: By default the starting position of the hole pattern is at the bottom of the opening. A negative value in this section offsets the rollout position towards the top of the opening.

Manual Hole Placement: Depending on the type of rollout slide, manually setting holes in this section may be preferable as rollout slides have different distances.

  • Number of Holes: Number of holes can be specified in this area.
  • Start Hole at...: This specifies the specific location of each hole on this panel.

Automatic Hole Placement: This section will create an automatic line bore at 32mm, using the offset that is set above. CAUTION: FRONT START POSITIONS ARE PANEL INCLUDING EDGEBANDING.

  • Start the first hole _____ from the front of the rollout box: This starts the line bore at a specified distance from the front of the rollout box.
  • Stop the last hole _____ from the back of the rollout box: This stops the line bore at a specified distance from the back of the rollout box.
  • Only place every _____ hole: If only so many holes need to be placed in this automatic hole placement, that number can be selected in this box.

The values in this window can be Saved to whatever name and whatever location that is specified, and also loaded from that location as well.
