Designer Customers
Minimum System Requirements for Designer
- Windows 10 (WINDOWS 10 CANNOT BE WINDOWS 10 S. IT MUST BE THE NORMAL WINDOWS 10 INSTALL. THE SAME WILL GO FOR WINDOWS 11. Please see the Notes section for more information)
- Direct X10 (Shader model 4.0)
- RAM: 2GB (32-bit) / 4GB (64-bit)
- Screen Resolution: 1366 x 768
- MUST HAVE AN INTEL OR AMD PROCESSOR. Computers that use an ARM processor will not be able to run our software.
NOTES & WARNINGS:
- Mac/Apple Compatibility: Cabinet Solutions DOES NOT WORK on Mac natively. Currently if your Mac has an INTEL processor, you can run Boot Camp or Parallels to run Windows and our software. THIS IS NOT SUPPORTED.

- Below is a list of Antivirus software we DO NOT SUPPORT: The Antivirus software listed below is known to cause Cabinet Solutions to stop working. They can cause Cabinet Solutions to shut down, being able to get codes or even to run if codes are assigned before the Antivirus software was installed. If you are able to get Cabinet Solutions working on your own or with the company who created the Antivirus software, you can use them. However if you have any issues with Cabinet Solutions not working and the below Antivirus software(s) running on your computer, we will not be able to assist you on getting Cabinet Solutions working. Any other Antivirus is recommended.

- Customers Using Advanceware: Customers using Advanceware for creating door orders, please be advised; you cannot open Advanceware first before the Designer or the Designer will not open. You must open the Designer first and then you can use Advanceware. If the Designer is closed and Advanceware is still running, you must shut down Advanceware before opening the Designer

- WINDOWS 10 AND 11 CUSTOMERS WITH WINDOWS S MODE: Cabinet Solutions will not work completely with Windows 10 OR 11 S, even if S Mode is disabled. Windows 10 S is not supported at all. Windows 11 S mode SHOULD be ok with S mode completely disabled or removed, however it is still not supported with Windows 10 or 11 S mode. To check if your PC is using S-Mode, press the Windows key on your keyboard, and click on Settings, then click on System, finally click on About. On the About page, scroll down to the “Windows Specifications” section. If you see the words “in S mode” to the right of the Edition entry, you're using an S Mode PC. If you don't, you're not using S Mode.

- Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 Support: Starting in 2025, Cabinet Solutions will be phasing out support for Windows 7 and Windows 8.1. Please see the Minimum System Requirements section for the minimum version of Windows that will be supported.
